Research, Education, & Innovation Week
REI Week is a week-long celebration which includes over 400 poster presentations, guest lectures, educational workshops and panel discussions. It is a cornerstone event showcasing the exceptional research, education and innovation efforts at Children's National Hospital and across the broader academic and clinical communities.
Before REI Week officially begins, you’re invited to join REI Research Rangers Week, an adventure right here in the hospital from 4/6/26-4/10/26! Scientists, doctors, and nurses use research to discover new ways to help kids stay healthy. Now you get to learn how they do it!
Throughout the week, you’ll complete Research Ranger challenges that help you explore what research is, why it matters, and how every discovery makes a difference. Each challenge teaches you something new! Every time you finish a challenge, you’ll earn part of your Research Ranger Achievement Set. Complete them all, and you’ll be ready for the final mission!
At the end of the week, one Ranger will be selected to receive the Research Ranger Award, a special prize celebrating curiosity, courage, and the awesome work you did exploring the world of science.
Grab your gear, get your imagination ready, and start your journey…
